Astrological spring: how the body opens up after a long winter
The spring transition is not just a metaphor, temperature, light and mood affect how we sleep, eat and how we feel closeness.

Spring does not begin in the calendar, but in the body. Longer days change the secretion of melatonin, the sun raises vitamin D levels, and the opportunity to move in fresh air returns. All three help balance the hormonal rhythm, which is usually shifted over the winter.
What changes in May and June
Libido is, across the whole population, most responsive to light. More light means a better mood, better sleep and often a higher level of energy. This does not happen by the calendar, but over two to three weeks, as the circadian rhythm adjusts.
Physical condition returns slowly. Spring fatigue is a real phenomenon, not a state of mind, and is usually resolved in about four weeks with enough sleep, less alcohol and a daily walk in natural light.
What helps during this period
Small habits, not a big vow. Half an hour of light in the morning, limited alcohol, regular sleep. The body responds to these rhythms faster than you expect.
Products for care and support of intimate wellbeing have a sensible place during this period. Water-based lubricants, massage oils, soft underwear, all of this is not a matter of trend, but of everyday comfort, which gains meaning in spring.
