What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They enable the site to remember your choices (language, cart contents, login) and to function correctly. A cookie does not contain executable code and cannot access files on your device.

The legal basis for using cookies is the Slovenian Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-1, Article 157) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Types of Cookies We Use

We divide cookies into strictly necessary (working without your consent because they are needed for the store to function) and optional (which require your consent).

Strictly Necessary Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are stored under Article 157 of ZEKom-1, which does not require explicit consent because they are indispensable for providing a service that the user has expressly requested.

Optional Cookies

We currently do not use analytics, marketing or targeting cookies. If we introduce analytics in the future (e.g. anonymised visit tracking), we will request your explicit consent through a banner, which you can withdraw at any time.

Third Parties

We currently do not load any third-party cookies (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, ad networks). The only external technology loaded is the payment provider (Stripe, Mollie or equivalent — TBD), and only on the payment page when you initiate payment yourself.

How to Manage Cookies in Your Browser

You can restrict or delete cookies in every browser. Below are links to instructions for the most common browsers:

• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
• Safari (macOS): Preferences → Privacy.
• Safari (iOS): Settings → Safari → Block All Cookies.
• Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

Important: if you block the vg_age_ok cookie, you will not be able to enter the store. If you block vendure-auth-token, your cart will not persist between visits.

Deleting Cookies

You can delete all stored cookies in the privacy section of your browser. After deletion, the store will ask you to confirm your age again.

Changes to the Policy

We may update this cookie policy occasionally, especially when introducing new features or third-party services. The date of the last update is shown at the top. We will notify you of changes by a prominent notice in the store.
